Rocky is a stellar fellow who steals hearts of everyone who knows him. Like his namesake, he has fought a huge battle and is coming out victorious. Rocky was living homeless on the beach in Lo de Marcos during low season. Several residents were feeding him and raising the alarm as he was having a hard time walking and needed help. It was thought he was hit by a car. When Amigos de Animales heard about him, we organized his rescue. After trips to several vets and rounds of treatment, Rocky was found positive for heartworm and two tick illnesses. Thanks to his foster family, Rocky is coming around and looks better every day. Rocky still needs special care but he is ready for adoption
